This page states our hosting posture, security process, support commitments, and data protection position. We keep it factual and we review it regularly. If a question is not answered here, write to support@werkstack.dev.
Hosting & data posture
Last reviewed: 2026-10-14Where your data lives depends on the app and the hosting type. We state it per app.
- Traffic-Lights for Jira (Cloud)Runs on Atlassian (Forge)
- The Cloud version is built on Atlassian Forge. It runs inside Atlassian's infrastructure. Customer data stays within Atlassian's infrastructure.
- Tree-View for Jira (Cloud)Runs on Atlassian (Forge)
- The Cloud version is built on Atlassian Forge. It runs inside Atlassian's infrastructure. Customer data stays within Atlassian's infrastructure.
- Group Sign-Off (Cloud)No Jira data stored by Werkstack
- The Cloud version keeps its data in your Jira site and in Atlassian Forge storage. Some of its pages are still delivered from Werkstack's servers, which store no Jira data. For each page request they record the Jira site address, the app's installation key, a pseudonymised user key and the license status, and keep these records for up to three months. The app is moving fully to Atlassian Forge.

- These Cloud versions are Atlassian Connect apps. Their pages are delivered from Werkstack's servers and run in your browser. Their data stays in your Jira or Confluence site. Our servers keep the same request records as for Group Sign-Off.
- Data Center appsYour infrastructure only
- Our Data Center apps run entirely on your own infrastructure. No data leaves it. We never receive, process, or store your issue data.
Security
Last reviewed: 2026-10-14Report vulnerabilities to security@werkstack.dev. Include steps to reproduce if you can.
We acknowledge security reports within 48 hours. We keep you informed while we investigate and fix the issue. We do not take legal action against good-faith research.
Support
Last reviewed: 2026-10-14We aim to answer support requests within 24 hours and commit to a response within 48 hours.
Reach us at support@werkstack.dev or through the support channel on each app's Atlassian Marketplace listing. Both routes go to the same team.
GDPR / DSGVO
Last reviewed: 2026-10-14We are Werkstack GmbH, a German company based in Leipzig. We operate under the GDPR (DSGVO) by default, not as an add-on.
Our Data Center apps send no personal data to us. They run on your infrastructure and nothing is sent to us. Atlassian shares license and billing contact details with us as the app vendor.

Cloud vs. Data Center
Last reviewed: 2026-10-14Cloud and Data Center versions of the same app can differ in feature set. This is normal for Marketplace apps and we would rather say it than let you find out after purchase. Each product page states which hosting types the app is available for. If you need a specific feature confirmed for a specific hosting type, ask us and we will give you a precise answer.
Atlassian program badges
Last reviewed: 2026-10-14The Cloud versions are built on Atlassian Forge. They run inside Atlassian's infrastructure and customer data does not leave it.
We only list badges Atlassian has actually granted. We hold no SOC 2 or ISO certifications and we do not claim any.
